3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

{from here}

In just three weeks, I will be Mrs. Kuykendall! I have really enjoyed wedding planning, butI am so happy in a few days it will all magically (and hopefully) come together and make our day so so special. I have been blessed to have wonderful resources that have given me fantastic vendors, and I can honestly say I will miss (only a little bit) the rush of event planning.

Next weekend, Scott and I will celebrate our 4-year anniversary, and looking back at those incredible 4 years makes me very excited for what is to come. Now, off to more vendor last meetings, more shopping at Target for last minute emergency items, and more decision making about seating charts, readings, songs, etc...

Ps. I cannot wait to see all my friends and family to celebrate and party after Scott and I say "I do". We are so excited so many people are traveling and making huge efforts to join us!

I wish I had a crystal ball

Copying a show on MTV, which I had never heard of before, called Downtown Girls, and considering I am only ONE MONTH away from becoming a Mrs., I feel there are so many changes coming my way, I wish I had clairvoyant powers.

Aside from the normal questions: Where will we live? Where is my career going to go? ... I would love to know, like in the episode of this show, if marriage will change the way my friends think of our friendship. In a way, I think simply being engaged already has, so will marriage totally change it?

I am still me, and I will still need my friends just as I do now. Part of the reason I miss my college days so much is because of how easy (and I often I took forgranted) it was to just hang out with the people I love and miss!

A year ago I was figuring out how my new job was going to work, how Scott and I's relationship would be after he started Law School, how my family dynamic would be considering internet was/is our outlet of communication, how my friendships with all of my friends would work (since 99.9% of them live everywhere but Houston!). Now I am trying to figure out how married couples function, how to be a good wife, and how to plan family holidays! Life really takes fast turns, and I still want a clear ball to know where it will all go...

Ps. Did I mention Scott and I are getting married in ONE MONTH! AUGUST 6th, 2010!!!!!!!!!!
